According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Douglas Anthony Ehrsam, 53, of Windsor Court was arrested for driving while under the influence, starting and backing vehicles and leaving the scene of an accident at 103 Professional Parkway at 10:46 p.m. Thursday.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 400 block of Mill Wood Boulevard at 11:33 a.m. on Thursday. Reports indicate the subject reported a firearm was stolen from his residence while he was on vacation.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 17000 block of Route 347 to investigate a dispute between family members at 12:06 a.m. Thursday.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to the 10000 block of U.S. 42 to investigate an injury crash involving a 2017 Toyota Tacoma that was struck from behind by a 2010 Honda CR-V at 6:09 a.m. Thursday. The driver of the Honda, Ruben N. Sunga, 65, of Marysville was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
A deputy was dispatched to a business in the 8000 block of Rausch Drive to investigate the theft of tools from multiple vehicles at 6:30 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 10000 block of Laguna Circle to investigate a vehicle break-in at 8:15 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy responded to the 25000 block of Sandusky Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2006 Ford Focus that drove off the right side of the road, lost control and struck a utility pole at 8:36 a.m. Thursday. The driver, Marita D. Silleck, 20, of Richwood was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 9000 block of El Camino Lane to investigate the theft of a wallet from an unlocked vehicle at 9:12 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy was sent to a business in the 6000 block of Industrial Parkway to investigate the theft of tools from a vehicle at 10:05 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy was dispatched to a business in the 6000 block of Route 161 to investigate a break-in where a lawn mower was stolen at 10:24 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy was sent to a business in the 21000 block of Northwest Parkway to investigate damage done to two vehicles by stray bullets at 10:27 a.m.
A deputy and units from the Marysville Fire Department responded to the Union County Adult Probation Office on Route 4 for a possible overdoes at 11:23 a.m. Thursday. The victim was transported to Memorial Hospital.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 16000 block of West Darby Road to investigate a trespassing complaint at 3:33 p.m. Thursday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 18000 block of Dog Leg Road to investigate a domestic dispute between a husband and wife at 4:03 p.m.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 23000 block of Lingrell Road to investigate the theft of a FedEx package at 4:33 p.m.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 9000 block of Harriott Road for an unruly juvenile at 8:36 p.m.
Deputies investigated a domestic dispute involving an ex-boyfriend that occurred at a property in the 12000 block of Bell Road at 11:56 p.m.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
Troopers responded to the scene of an accident on U.S. 33 at mile marker 16 involving Kody Ley, 23, of Lima and Macguire Davis, 16, of Marysville at 7:23 a.m. Thursday. Both drivers were traveling southeast on U.S. 33 in the left lane and began braking for slowed traffic ahead. Ley was following Davis when he rear-ended his vehicle. Both vehicles slid into the median and stopped there. Ley was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Troopers responded to the scene of an accident on U.S. 33 at Route 161 involving Lonnie Ott, 63, of Botkins and Amanda Schoby, 41, of Marysville at 8:39 a.m. Thursday. Both drivers were traveling south on U.S. 33 at the off-ramp when they stopped at the stop sign for Route 161. Ott then struck the back of Schoby’s vehicle. Ott was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
