Robert Bartlett, 51, of W. Third Street was arrested for failure to appear in court, on U.S. 31 at 9:44 p.m. Monday.
Police responded to a report of telecommunication harassment in the 500 block of Allenby Drive at 5:52 a.m. Monday. The reporting person advised MPD she was being harassed via phone.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 18000 block of Boerger Road at 8:06 a.m. Monday. The reporting person advised his cargo trailer was stolen.
Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct (intoxicated annoyance or alarm) in the 800 block of Amrine Mill Road at 9:26 a.m. Monday.
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 500 block of N. Main Street at 9:17 a.m. Monday. Individuals from a mobile home park reported possible drug use in one of their storage units.
Police responded to a report of forgery in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street at 12:24 p.m. Monday. The reporting person advised she believes her step-daughter became her power of attorney via fraud.
Police responded to a report of forgery in the 1100 block of Milford Avenue at 4:49 p.m. Monday. A resident reported unemployment was filed in his name without his consent.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy was dispatched to a business in the 8000 block of Corporate Boulevard to investigate a theft of several tools from a utility trailer at 7:36 a.m. Monday.
A deputy was sent to the Southeastern Regional Jail to take custody of Conrad J. Brennan, 31, of Plain City for an outstanding arrest warrant at 8:07 a.m. Monday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department, Pleasant Valley Joint Fire and EMS District and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to U.S. 42 near Rickard Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2009 Honda CR-V at 9:37 a.m. Monday. The Ohio State Highway Patrol handled the crash investigation.
Deputies and units from the Southeast Hardin Northwest Union County Joint Fire District responded to a residence in the 18000 block of Route 739 for a report of a person found unconscious and not breathing at 10:17 a.m. Monday. The Union County Coroner’s Office was summoned to the scene.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 20000 block of Peoria Loop Road to investigate a dispute between family members at 3:14 p.m. Monday.
Deputies and units from the Union Township Fire Department responded to Route 38 near Streng Road to investigate an injury crash involving a 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 that struck a deer at 4:39 p.m. Monday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 20000 block of Peoria Loop Road to investigate a dispute over property between residents at 4:39 p.m. Monday. The parties were separated.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 28000 block of Storms Road for an unruly juvenile at 6:32 p.m. Monday.
A deputy investigated a report of a person from the 14000 block of Shagbark Court that was threatening self-harm and had left the area at 11:19 p.m. Monday. Union County deputies checked the immediate area and were not able to locate the person. The Champaign County Sheriff’s Office was notified as the person was possibly in their county.
