Police responded to a report of drug paraphernalia in the 100 block of E. Sixth Street at 11:29 a.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate “two males were found in a public restroom together at Pastime Park” and “drug paraphernalia was confiscated.”
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 100 block of N. Main Street at 4:44 p.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 100 block of N. Main Street at 8:17 p.m. Wednesday. The reporting person advised they found a knife and were unaware of the owner’s identity.
Police responded to a report of drug abuse in the 500 block of London Avenue at 8:02 p.m. Wednesday. Methamphetamine was reportedly located in a patient’s room at Memorial Hospital.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy checked a suspicious vehicle that was parked at a business in the 23000 block of Route 4 at 2:04 a.m. Wednesday. After further investigation, an occupant in the vehicle, Pedro L. Moreno-Castro, 39, of Lima was arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant from Logan County. He was transferred to the custody of a Logan County deputy.
A deputy investigated a property damage crash that occurred on Route 347 near White Stone Road involving a 2012 Ford Fiesta that struck a deer at 7:43 a.m. Wednesday.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department, Scioto Township Fire Department and the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to the 13000 block of U.S. 36 for a house fire at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday.
A deputy investigated a property damage crash involving a 2008 Ford F-250 that lost control and struck a guardrail on the U.S. 33 eastbound on-ramp from Northwest Parkway at 3:31 p.m. Wednesday. The driver, Joseph E. Wellman, Jr., 18, of Marysville was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence on West Center Street in Milford Center to investigate a domestic dispute between an ex-boyfriend and ex-girlfriend at 6:16 p.m. Wednesday. The parties were separated.
A deputy met with a Marion Police Department officer to take custody of a runaway juvenile for a probation violation at 7:40 p.m. Wednesday. The juvenile was transported to the Central Ohio Youth Center.
A deputy assisted a Richwood Police Department officer with a domestic dispute at a residence on South Fulton Street in Richwood at 10:24 p.m. Wednesday.
