According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Jason Barker, 46, of N. Cherry Street was cited for theft in the 200 block of N. Cherry Street at 9:28 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate Barker “walked past all points of sale without paying for a chainsaw.”
Treyvon D’Angelo Higgins, 18, of W. Third Street was arrested for obstructing official business in the 800 block of Collins Avenue at 11:17 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate he was arrested on a felony warrant.
Police responded to a report of a mental health issue at 8 a.m. Thursday.
Police responded to a report of juvenile offenses in the 300 block of Chestnut Street at 3:54 p.m. Thursday. The reporting person indicated her grandson was being unruly and she was concerned about the possibility of him engaging in self-harm.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies and units from the Liberty Township Fire Department responded to the intersection of Moore Road and Route 31 to investigate an injury crash involving a 2021 Peterbilt semi-truck that was struck from behind by a 2006 Kenworth semi-truck at 8:48 a.m. Thursday. The Kenworth semi-truck continued off the road and overturned in a ditch line, causing a fuel tank rupture and a fuel leak. The driver of the Kenworth, Corey M. Pritt, 27, of Chillicothe was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead. Route 31 was closed for approximately 4.5 hours while the crash was investigated. Units from the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Ohio Department of Transportation assisted at the scene.
A deputy investigated a trespassing complaint that occurred at a residence in the 17000 block of Route 4 at 11:07 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy met with a Columbus Police Officer to take custody of Christopher J. Zoeller, 37, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 1:30 p.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a sports complex in the 16000 block of County Home Road to investigate damage to the parking lot caused by the reckless operation of a vehicle at 1:53 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 20000 block of Route 47 to resolve a utility dispute between a tenant and a landlord at 6:16 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy responded to U.S. 33 near Route 739 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2019 Mazda MX-5 that struck a deer at 7:09 p.m. Thursday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 17000 block of Clark Dawson Road to investigate a possible burglary at 9:45 p.m. Thursday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 to investigate unruly juveniles at 10:27 p.m. Thursday.

Deney Durr, 36, of Columbus was stopped for driving 106 mph in a 70 mph zone on U.S. 33 at mile post 2 at 2:19 a.m. Thursday.
Troopers responded to the scene of a property damage crash involving Cheyenne Wilson, 33, of Harrod that occurred on U.S. 33 near mile post 26 at 2:35 a.m. Thursday. Wilson was traveling westbound on U.S. 33 and struck a deer. No injuries occurred as a result of the crash.
A trooper investigated a property damage crash on Route 739 at 2:45 p.m. Thursday. Issac Nickelson, 26, of Bellefontaine was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu and stopped in traffic while traveling westbound. Donavan Ebbeskotte, 29, of Lima was driving a 2016 GMC Sierra westbound and struck Nickelson’s vehicle. Ebbeskotte was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
A trooper stopped Silvio Fernandez, 39, of Columbus for traveling 81 mph in a 70 mph zone on U.S. 33 near mile post 19 at 11:58 p.m. Thursday. Fernandez was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He was also cited for driving under suspension. He allegedly refused to provide a breath test and was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
