According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 24000 block of Route 31 at 10:54 a.m. Friday.
Police responded to a report of misuse of a credit card in the 600 block of Wagon Wheel Lane at 6:19 p.m. Friday. The complainant indicated an unknown person or persons are using her personal information and her credit and debit cards.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving a hit-skip driver that occurred on E. Fifth Street at 7:08 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate an unknown driver was packing in the parking lot of 1107 E. Fifth Street and struck the gate leading to the storage units.
Nicholas Zamarelli, 18, of Palm Drive was cited for disorderly conduct in the 300 block of W. Fourth Street at 11:54 a.m. Saturday.
Daniel Anthony Fitzgerald, 40, of E. Main Street in Plain City was cited for disorderly conduct in the 300 block of W. Fourth Street at 11:56 a.m. Saturday. Reports indicate the citation stemmed from an incident in which Zamarelli reported being assaulted by Fitzgerald while at a friend’s house.
Zachary Alan Peterson, 30, of North Lewisburg was cited for driving without paying reinstatement fees in the 900 block of W. Fifth Street at 8:27 a.m. Saturday.
Jackie Taylor, 25, of Bellefontaine was cited for theft in the 900 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 7:21 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate she was cited after stealing items from Meijer.
Lauren Marie Cook, 33, of Downey Drive was cited for disorderly conduct in the 1400 block of Downey Drive at 4:15 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate she was issued a citation after “getting into a fight with her husband.”
Brian D. Cook, 36, of Downey Drive was cited for disorderly conduct in the 1400 block of Downey Drive at 4:16 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate the citation stemmed from “fighting with his wife.” He reportedly had a “blunt object” being used as a weapon at the time of the citation.
Police responded to a report of a theft in the 200 block of N. Court Street at 11 a.m. Saturday. The reporting person indicated items were stolen from his sunroom.
Police responded to a report of recovered property on W. Fifth Street at N. Maple Street at 7:41 p.m. Saturday.
Police responded to a report of a mental health issue in the 1100 block of W. Fifth Street at 6:35 p.m. Saturday.
Robert E. Mullins, 53, of Coventry Place was cited for domestic violence in the 900 block of Coventry Place at 6:38 p.m. Sunday.
Police responded to a report of unauthorized use of a vehicle in the 400 block of Allenby Drive at 1:23 a.m. Sunday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Sabrina M. Lloyd, 21, of Bellefontaine and Martha J. Preston, 71, of Retreat Lane that occurred on U.S. 33 at U.S. 36 at 6:14 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate Lloyd was in the right lane of U.S. 33 westbound just past U.S. 36. Preston was traveling in the left lane and attempted to get into the right lane. She did not see Lloyd’s vehicle and struck it. Preston was cited for failure to control. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries as a result of the incident.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 23000 block of Dayton Avenue to investigate a property damage crash involving a United States Postal Service vehicle that struck a mailbox and left the scene at 6:51 a.m. Friday.
A deputy met with a resident of Butler County to investigate a harassment complaint involving a person that lives in Marysville at 9:12 a.m. Friday.
A deputy investigated a domestic dispute that occurred at a residence on Cross Street in Unionville Center between a stepfather and a stepson at 12:33 p.m. Friday.
Deputies and units from the Allen Township Fire Department responded to the intersection of Northwest Parkway and Honda Parkway for an injury crash involving a 2018 Chevrolet Cruze that was struck by a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado at 3:50 p.m. Friday. The driver of the Cruze, Stephanie A. Webb, 26, of Huntsville was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital.
A deputy went to the Multi-County Jail in Marion to take custody of Rocky E. Jordan II, 41, of Marion for an outstanding arrest warrant at 8:19 p.m. Friday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
While investigating a suspicious vehicle that was parked at a business in the 23000 block of Route 4, a deputy arrested James D. Anderson, 32, of Lewis Center for an outstanding arrest warrant at 8:59 p.m. Friday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy met with a Columbus Police Officer at the OSU Wexner Medical Center to take custody of Kangol K. Odo, 49, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant at 9:19 p.m. Friday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy met with a resident from the 19000 block of Northwest Parkway to investigate the unauthorized use of a 1999 Isuzu Trooper at 10:30 p.m. Friday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 23000 block of Woodstock Road to investigate a domestic dispute between a husband and a wife at 12:40 a.m. Saturday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 23000 block of Route 31 for a domestic dispute between a husband and a wife at 2:06 a.m. Saturday.
A deputy met with an Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper to take custody of Markellus D. Cobbs, 30, of Lima for an outstanding arrest warrant at 2:20 a.m. Saturday. He was transported to the Marysville Police Department and released after posting a bond.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 23000 block of Route 31 for a domestic dispute between a husband and a wife at 2:51 a.m. Saturday. The parties were separated.
A deputy responded to U.S. 33 near Beecher Gamble Road for a property damage crash involving a 2011 Ford Econoline van that struck a deer at 10:29 a.m. Saturday.
Deputies assisted Marysville Police Officers with a domestic dispute at a residence in the 1400 block of Downey Drive at 12:21 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy responded to the 19000 block of Cotton Slash Road for a property damage crash involving a 2020 Honda Accord that struck a mailbox at 1:11 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies and units from the Allen Township Fire Department were dispatched to a business in the 24000 block of Honda Parkway for a person who attempted self-harm at 4:49 p.m. Saturday. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital.
Deputies went to a residence in the 23000 block of Woodstock Road to arrest Michael K. Capaniro, 52, of Marysville for an outstanding warrant at 6:32 p.m. Saturday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to an event center in the 11000 block of Hinton Mill Road to investigate a fight involving multiple people at 10:21 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy assisted a Richwood Police Officer and units from the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District with an overdose that occurred at a residence on West Ottawa Street in Richwood at 1:50 a.m. Sunday.
Deputies and units from the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District responded to Route 37 north of Route 739 for a property damage crash involving a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado that lost control and struck a guardrail at 3 a.m. Sunday. The driver fled the scene.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence on South Main Street in Magnetic Springs to investigate fraud involving the attempted purchase of a vehicle through an internet website at 2:08 p.m. Sunday.
A deputy responded to Route 37 near Ira Bean Parkway to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2005 Ford F-150 that struck a mailbox and then fled the scene at 5:47 p.m. Sunday.
A deputy attempted to stop a 2005 Chevrolet Equinox on U.S. 33 near Paver Barnes Road for a traffic violation at 6:54 p.m. Sunday. The vehicle refused to stop and a pursuit was initiated. The pursuit ended on Honda Parkway near Northwest Parkway. The driver, Roger S. Harney, 51, of Richwood was arrested for failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer and outstanding warrants from Morrow County and the Westerville Police Department. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail. The Ohio State Highway Patrol assisted with the pursuit.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
Troopers stopped Alysa Grooms, 23, of Marysville while driving a white 2009 Kia SUV for a speed violation on U.S. 33 at 11:53 p.m. Friday. She was reportedly driving 80 mph in a 70 mph zone. She was put through field tests and provided a breath sample of 0.121 BAC. Grooms was cited for speed, no valid operator’s license and operating a vehicle while under the influence.
Troopers stopped Markellus Cobbs, whose age was unlisted, while driving a silver 2009 Ford for a speed violation on U.S. 33 at 2:07 a.m. Friday. He was reportedly driving 75 mph in a 65 mph zone. He was cited for speed and driving under a child support suspension and arrested for a misdemeanor warrant out of Union County. Cobbs was released to the Union County Sheriff’s Office for the warrant.
Troopers stopped Brenda Vasquez Ayala, 23, of Strongsville while driving a white 2018 Chevrolet for a left of center violation on U.S. 333 at 1:25 a.m. Sunday. Vasquez Ayala allegedly showed signs of impairment and provided a breath sample of 0.113 BAC. She was issued a citation for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and driving left of center.
