Police responded to a report of violating a protection order or consent agreement in the 200 block of W. Fifth Street at 3:19 p.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate the subject had a temporary protection order against her ex. He allegedly texted her the day of their trial to speak with his daughter.
Police responded to a report of a dog bite complaint in the 15000 block of U.S. 36 at 1:57 p.m. Tuesday.
Police responded to a report of identity theft in the 200 block of Prairie Drive at 4:11 p.m. Tuesday. A local resident reported that their identity was used to claim unemployment benefits.
Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct in the 300 block of N. Cherry Street at 4:17 p.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate the complaint stemmed from a dispute between roommates.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy was sent to the 27000 block of Route 31 to investigate the theft of several political signs at 9:42 a.m. Tuesday.
A deputy investigated the theft of checks from a mailbox that occurred in the 7000 block of Spruce Court at 11:01 a.m. Tuesday.
A deputy investigated a property damage crash that occurred in the 23000 block of Route 37 involving a 2000 Ford F-350 that struck a deer at 4:51 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy responded to Route 739 east of Hamilton Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2005 Honda Pilot that struck a deer at 5:22 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy arrested Andrew K. Coffey, 22, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant when he turned himself in at the Sheriff’s Office at 5:17 p.m. Tuesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy responded to Whitestone Road south of Kaiser Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2011 Ford Transit that struck a deer at 6:56 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy responded to Yearsley Road near Powder Lick Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2012 Chevrolet Suburban that struck a deer at 7:11 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy responded to the 16000 block of Middleburg Plain City Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2011 Chevrolet HHR that struck a deer at 7:18 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 8000 block of Watkins Road for a person that was bitten by a pit bull at 7:38 p.m. Tuesday.
