According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Austin Tyler Crain, 27, of W. Fourth Street was arrested for menacing in the 700 block of W. Fourth Street at 5:35 p.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate the arrest stemmed from an incident on Tuesday in which a female reported being threatened by Crain.
Police responded to a report of criminal damaging/endangering in the 900 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 8:08 a.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate a local business was vandalized.
Police responded to a report of identity theft in the 1200 block of Sassafras Lane at 9:20 a.m. Wednesday. The reporting person indicated she received an unemployment debit card that she did not apply for.
Police responded to a report of menacing in the 200 block of Taylor Avenue at 3:06 p.m. Wednesday. A male reported “he has heard someone he knows is going to shoot him.”
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Gale G. Clevenger, 76, of Richwood and George A. Shaw, 64, of Delaware that occurred on Square Drive at U.S. 36 at 6:57 p.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate Clevenger had a green light and was traveling through the traffic light when Shaw allegedly ran his red light and struck her vehicle. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident. Shaw was cited for obedience to traffic signals.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy met with a Bellefontaine Police Officer to take custody of Tiffani J. Hunter, 36, of Bellefontaine for an outstanding arrest warrant at 12:51 a.m. Wednesday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to U.S. 33 near Beecher Gamble Road for an injury crash involving a 2017 Toyota Camry that struck a deer at 5:19 a.m. Wednesday. One victim was transported to Dublin Methodist Hospital.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 21000 block of Main Street in Raymond for a person threatening self-harm at 8:52 a.m. Wednesday. The person was transported to Maryhaven.
As a result of a traffic stop on Route 161 near Kramer Road, a deputy arrested Mitchell L. Rhoades, 33, of Worthington for an outstanding arrest warrant from the Columbus Police Department at 10:58 a.m. Wednesday. He was transferred to the custody of a Columbus Police Officer.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 18000 block of Cunningham Arbela Road for a person threatening self-harm at 12:32 p.m. Wednesday. The person was transported to Maryhaven by a friend.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 9000 block of New California Drive to investigate the theft of tools from an unlocked vehicle at 12:49 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy was sent to the Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of Brandon C. Huff, 27, of Marysville for a bond violation at 4:23 p.m. Wednesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a property in the 21000 block of Route 739 to investigate a trespassing complaint at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday.
