A deputy was sent to a residence in the 15000 block of Meadowbrook Drive to investigate unwanted text messages Monday at 2:57 a.m.
As a result of a traffic stop on Scottslawn Road near Watkins Road, a deputy arrested Pearl A. Syphrit, 61, of Ostrander, for operating a vehicle while under the influence Monday at 8;48 a.m. She was taken to the Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 22000 block of Bear Swamp Road to investigate the theft of a 2006 Honda Rancher Monday at 9:54 a.m.
A deputy went to the Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of Azia L. Alexander, 27, of Richwood, for a probation violation Monday at 12:16 p.m. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy went to a residence in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 to take custody of Craig W. McComas, 28, of Marysville, for an outstanding warrant Monday at 3:47 p.m. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 20000 block of Route 47 to investigate a menacing complaint Monday at 4:46 p.m.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 31000 block of McPeck Road to investigate the theft of prescription medication Monday at 6:03 p.m.
As a result of a traffic stop on Columbus Avenue, a deputy arrested Daniel J. Shook, 56, of Marysville, for an outstanding warrant Monday at 7 p.m. He was taken to the Marysville Police Department.
A deputy responded to U.S. 33 west of Scottslawn Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2013 Dodge Journey that struck a deer Monday at 7:20 p.m.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 10000 block of Jerome Road to investigate a dispute between a male and female Monday at 8:37 p.m. The parties were separated.
William H. Short, 45, of Findlay, was arrested for an outstanding warrant after a traffic stop on Route 31, near Route 739, at 10:31 a.m. Friday. He was transported to Tri-County Regional Jail.

Keith A. Mosley, 38, of Grove City, was charged for possession of drug abuse instruments and driving under suspension after a traffic stop on U.S. 33, near Route 31, at 11:26 p.m. Saturday. A passenger, Kaitlin M. Daniels, 26, of Marysville, was charged with possession of drug abuse instruments, falsification, and obstructing justice.
A property damage crash involving a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu that drove off the road and into a ditch near Martin Welch Road was investigated at 1:50 a.m. Sunday. After further investigation, Evan C. McElroy, 23, of Richwood, was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence. A passenger, Nicolas D. Rowe, 20, of Marion, was charged with underage consumption of alcohol.

A property damage crash involving a 1992 Buick Park Avenue that was struck from behind by a 2001 GMC Yukon on U.S. 42, near Hickory Ridge Road, was investigated at 7:16 p.m. Sunday. The driver of the Yukon, Patrick R. Hoffman, 25, of Marysville, was issued a traffic citation for failure to drive in marked lanes.
Deputies were sent to a residence on Route 739 for an unruly juvenile at 7:20 p.m. Sunday.
A property damage crash involving a 2009 Honda Civic that struck a deer on Route 347, near Yearsley Road, was investigated at 11:05 p.m. Sunday.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
Troopers investigated a crash on U.S. 33 Saturday at 7:40 p.m. that involved a 2016 Honda Civic, driven by Kaitlyn Entler, 23, of Dublin, hitting the back of a another vehicle, driven by Emily Hamilton, 32, of Columbus.
The report doesn’t state if anyone was transported for medical attention. Entler was charged with OVI.
