According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Becca Leigh Rose Perkins, 30, of Delaware was arrested for theft in the 900 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 7:04 a.m. Friday. Reports indicate the arrest followed a theft complaint at Meijer the previous night.
Robert Douglas Willis, 40, of Richwood was arrested for failure to appear in court and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 200 block of Collins Avenue at 9:29 a.m. Friday.
Jennifer Angel Stone, 34, of Aspen Drive was arrested on the charges of driving under 12-point suspension, driving under financial responsibility suspension and failure to appear in court, on Delaware Avenue at 4:02 p.m. Friday.
Police responded to a report of recovered property on N. Maple Street at Quail Hollow Drive at 1:07 a.m. Friday. Reports indicate police recovered drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 14000 block of Weaver Road at 8:38 a.m. Friday. Reports indicate the subject turned in items believed to be of a suspicious nature that were recovered from a storage unit content purchase. Reports do not specify what the items were.
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 500 block of E. Sixth Street at 10:50 a.m. Friday.
Police responded to assist another agency in the 600 block of Arabian Circle at 6:47 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate MPD responded with the Marysville Division of Fire for a residential house fire.
Police responded to a probation violation in the 100 block of Hemlock Drive at 9:45 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate a female juvenile was taken to the Central Ohio Youth Center on a probation violation.
Police responded to a report of theft – beyond express/implied consent in the 500 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 10:32 p.m. Saturday. The reporting person advised his cell phone was stolen from his place of employment, Walmart. The reporting person made contact with someone who had the phone and he was advised that they would return the phone, but had not prior to the end of his shift.
Police responded to a report of a suspicious person in the 1100 block of W. Fifth Street at 11:43 p.m. Saturday. The reporting person reported a suspicious female trespassing on property.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving a juvenile and Daniel Pastorius, 23, of Newark on U.S. 33 at Route 245 at 3:31 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate the juvenile was exiting U.S. 33 westbound to Route 245 when she struck Pastorius’ vehicle, which was on the exit ramp for Route 245. The juvenile was cited for full time and attention.
Kaine M. Ransome, 30, of S. Maple Street was arrested for driving while under the influence and driving left of center in the 200 block of S. Maple Street at 4:29 a.m. Sunday.
Police responded to assist another agency in the 1500 block of W. Fifth Street at 6:42 p.m. Sunday.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy was sent to a construction site in the 7500 block of Nature Way to investigate a report of theft of building materials at 7:12 a.m. Friday.
A deputy went to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Yalon L. Carter, 23, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 10:01 a.m. Friday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy stopped a 1998 Honda Civic on U.S. 33 near U.S. 42 at 12:13 p.m. Friday. The passenger, Lane M. Allen, 28, of Marysville was arrested for outstanding arrest warrants out of Union County and Champaign County. He was also issued a citation for possession of drug abuse instruments.
A deputy was sent to a residence on East State Street in Milford Center to investigate a report of trespassing at 2:37 p.m. Friday.
A deputy met with the driver of a 2001 Chevrolet Corvette that was involved in a property damage crash on U.S. 42 at the exit ramp from U.S. 33 at 7:14 p.m. Friday.
A deputy met the driver of a 2014 Nissan Altima that struck a deer on Route 4 near Kaiser Road at 7:23 p.m. Friday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 24000 block of Lunda Road to investigate a report of telecommunication harassment at 10:24 p.m. Friday.
A deputy met with a Columbus Police Officer to take custody of Everett J. Thacker, 36, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 3:12 a.m. Saturday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
As a result of a routine traffic stop with a 2015 Jeep Wrangler on New California Drive near U.S. 42, a deputy arrested Laura A. Steitz, 47, of Plain City for driving under the influence of alcohol at 4 a.m. Saturday. She was transported to the Union County Sheriff’s Office.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
Rider Lucas, 46, of Houston, Texas was cited for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, not wearing a seat belt and not driving in marked lanes on U.S. 33 westbound at mile marker 16 at 1:54 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 24.
Jeffrey Groat, 35, of Marysville was cited for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, not wearing a seat belt and not using headlights on U.S. 33 westbound at mile marker 19 at 8:20 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25.
Khamh Tu, 35, of Marysville was cited for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and not driving in marked lanes on U.S. 33 westbound at mile marker 23 at 7:04 p.m. Thursday.
Jon Newhart, 41, of Marysville was cited for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and not driving in marked lanes on U.S. 33 westbound at mile marker 20 at 1:33 a.m. Sunday.
Kelton Kilgore, 27, of South Portsmouth, Kentucky was cited for speeding (90 mph in a 70 mph zone) and operating a vehicle while intoxicated on U.S. 33 eastbound at mile marker 21 at 1:48 a.m. Sunday.
