According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Matthew Scott Phipps, 35, of Hemlock Drive was cited for FRA/non-compliance suspension in the 700 block of N. Maple Street at 8:36 a.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street at 10:31 a.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate a complainant advised “she was at a house party and an unknown person smashed her bottle of (Percocet) on the ground. She didn’t witness this act and doesn’t know who did it.” She was also unable to tell the officer where it occurred.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy went to the Fayette County Jail to take custody of Joshua W. Coakley, 30, of Portsmouth for an outstanding arrest warrant at 2:46 a.m. Wednesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy arrested Seraphina L. Bailey, 38, of Powell for an outstanding arrest warrant at the Union County Courthouse at 10:31 a.m. Wednesday.
Deputies went to a residence on Royal Oak Drive in Marysville to arrest Jeffrey A. Day, 40, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 11:16 a.m. Wednesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was sent to the Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of Dean C. Parish, 42, of Alexander, Arkansas for a bond violation at 11:37 a.m. Wednesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy attempted to stop a blue Dodge Charger on Route 31 near Yoakum Road for a traffic violation at 12:16 p.m. Wednesday. The vehicle fled southbound on Route 31, westbound on U.S. 33 and then southbound on Route 4. The pursuit was discontinued. The vehicle was later located on Route 38 and a deputy again attempted to stop the vehicle. The vehicle continued to flee southbound on Route 38 in Madison County where deputies from the Madison County Sheriff’s Office and officers from the London Police Department were able to stop the vehicle and take the driver into custody. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted in the pursuit by officers from the Marysville Police Department and troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The incident remains under investigation.
Deputies and units from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Marysville Police Department and the Marysville Fire Department responded to the U.S. 33 overpass over West Fifth Street for an injury involving a 2019 Freightliner semi-truck that struck a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee at 12:57 p.m. Wednesday. One victim was transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital.
A deputy was sent to the Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of Daniel G. Miller, 33, of Bellefontaine for a bond violation at 3:54 p.m. Wednesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 14000 block of Pleasant Ridge Drive to investigate a family property dispute between two brothers at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 15000 block of Fish Road to investigate a dispute over the use of a vehicle at 7:47 p.m. Wednesday.
