Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 1500 block of West Fifth Street at 9:23 a.m. Thursday. Reports indicate a store employee turned over a recovered Ohio driver’s license.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies assisted the Plain City Police Department with the recovery of a stolen vehicle and the subsequent search and vehicle pursuit of the suspects on Lantern Lane near Buggy Whip Drive at 2:34 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy responded to Raymond Road near Liberty West Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2007 Honda Civic that struck a deer at 6:55 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy met with a resident from the 14000 block of Hinton Mill Road to investigate the unauthorized use of a 2011 Honda Fit at 12:20 p.m. Thursday.
A Union County deputy met with a Marion County deputy to take custody of Jaden M. T. Darst-Mullins, 18, of Marion for an outstanding arrest warrant at 2:44 p.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a home in the 18000 block of Bear Swamp Road to resolve a family dispute at 3:26 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy met with an Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper to take custody of Angela S. Cook, 29, of Lima for an outstanding arrest warrant at 4:22 p.m. Thursday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy responded to the intersection of Middleburg-Plain City Road and Lincoln Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2005 Ford F-250 that was struck from behind by a 2016 GMC Terrain at 6:09 p.m. Thursday. The driver of the GMC, Krista N. Reck, 37, of Urbana was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
A deputy responded to the intersection of Route 31 and Amrine Wood Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu that was struck by a 2013 Mini Cooper at 6:20 p.m. Thursday. The juvenile driver of the Mini Cooper was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign.
A deputy responded to Route 736 near Fladt Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2014 Acura MDX that struck a deer at 6:44 p.m. Thursday.
