According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Christopher Blake Salyers, 34, of Caledonia was cited for obstructing official business in the 500 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 5:48 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate Salyers was a suspect in the a theft complaint and attempted to run from police during the investigation.
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 500 block of W. Third Street at 9:22 a.m. Thursday. Reports indicate a video of a male juvenile “brandishing a firearm” in the area was posted on social media.
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 1300 block of Valley Drive at 1:12 p.m. Thursday. The reporting person indicated he found a bookbag of items in his yard.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Hannah Kathryn Engle, 18, of Black Road that occurred on Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 3:13 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate an unoccupied vehicle was parked in the parking lot of Meijer. Engle was backing out of the parking space and side-swiped the vehicle. Engle did not think she hit the other vehicle and left the scene. A bystander captured the license plate of Engle’s vehicle and informed the other driver. Meijer did not have a video of the accident. No citations are listed.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Collin Sheridan Putney, 22, of Route 739 and Ryan Matthew Bushong, 41, of Yearsley Road that occurred on W. Fifth Street at Park Avenue at 5:02 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate Bushong was stopped in traffic and Putney rear-ended his vehicle. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. No citations are listed.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Ashley Renee Welsh, 18, of North Lewisburg; Linda Carol Barker, 54, of Woodcrest Drive; and David R. DeGood, 66, of Ostrander that occurred on Charles Lane at Delaware Avenue at 8:59 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate Barker and DeGood were stopped at the traffic light on Charles Lane. Welsh attempted to turn right onto Charles Lane and failed to control her vehicle. She struck the front left side of Barker’s vehicle, then the rear of DeGood’s vehicle. Barker experienced possible injuries and was transported by the Marysville Division of Fire. Welsh was cited for failure to control.
Police responded to a death investigation in the 400 block of Windsor Drive at 10:37 a.m. Friday. The reporting person allegedly found his wife unresponsive on the ground.
Police responded to a report of menacing in the 1500 block of Adena Pointe Drive at 1:09 p.m. Friday.
Police responded to a report of a suicide attempt in the 1700 block of Damos Way at 7:49 p.m. Friday.
Police responded to a report of a suicide threat in the 1300 block of Village Drive at 8:48 p.m. Friday.
Police responded to a report of a missing person in the 100 block of Damascus Road at 5:07 p.m. Friday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Ricky Lee Munk II, 23, of Tarragon Drive that occurred on Tarragon Drive at 4:18 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate Munk was driving “too fast for the conditions” and slid off the road, striking a tree in the front yard of a residence. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident. Munk was cited for failure to control.
Elizabeth A. Weis, 29, of W. Mansfield was cited for disorderly conduct (fighting or threatening) in the 500 block of W. Fifth Street at 11:52 a.m. Saturday.
Michael T.M. McPherson, 29, of W. Fifth Street was cited for disorderly conduct (fighting or threatening) in the 500 block of W. Fifth Street at 11:53 a.m. Saturday. Reports indicate Weis and McPherson were involved in an altercation.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street at 2:16 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate a male and female advised charges were made with their credit card that they did not make.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Adam Mackenzie Bowen, 31, of Trotters Circle and Michael Freeman, 28, of Preakness Place that occurred on U.S. 33 at Delaware Avenue at 8:55 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate both drivers were at the traffic signal at U.S. 33 east and Delaware Avenue. Bowen allegedly failed to assure clear distance ahead and bumped the rear of Freeman’s vehicle, leaving an outline of license plate in the dire on Bowen’s vehicle. A witness advised a male was driving the second vehicle. When the MPD officer arrived, a male was driving but said a female passenger was driving when the incident occurred. No injuries were experienced as a result of the incident. Bowen was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Ryan Rene Perez, 19, of W. Third Street was cited for contributing to the unruliness/delinquency of a child and obstructing justice in the 200 block of Cypress Drive at 4:11 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate Perez was involved in a Dec. 22 incident in which a female juvenile attempted to run away from home.
Police responded to a report of a dispute in the 600 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 5:15 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate two men got into a dispute regarding a parking space.
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 100 block of N. Main Street at 6:56 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate an officer conducted a well-being check regarding a female.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 9200 block of Weigela Court to investigate a domestic dispute between a husband and wife at 2:08 p.m. Thursday.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department responded to a residence in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 to investigate a suicide attempt at 2:43 p.m. Thursday. The victim was transported to Memorial Hospital.
A deputy met with an Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper to take custody of Kaitlyn M. Gilbert, 21, of Mount Vernon for an outstanding arrest warrant at 5:12 p.m. Thursday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy responded to the 12000 block of Watkins Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2007 Nissan Maxima that lost control and struck a 2012 Nissan Versa at 6:06 p.m. Thursday.
Deputies and units from the Richwood Police Department responded to a residence in the 14000 block of Route 739 to investigate a possible prowler complaint at 9:25 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy responded to U.S. 33 and Route 4 south to investigate a crash involving a 2015 Chevrolet Impala that lost control and went off the roadway at 12:48 a.m. Friday.
A deputy responded to Route 347 near Storms Road for a crash involving a 2010 Toyota Corolla that lost control and struck a guardrail at 2:08 a.m. Friday.
Deputies and units from the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District responded to a crash in the 10000 block of Boundary Road involving a 2002 Dodge Dakota that lost control and left the roadway at 12:36 p.m. Friday. One patient was transported to Memorial Hospital. The driver, a juvenile, was given a citation for failure to control.
Deputies assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol with a traffic accident in the 22000 block of Route 4 at 2:56 p.m. Friday.
Deputies responded to a residence in the 20000 block of Cunningham Arbela Road for a domestic dispute between a husband and wife at 4:33 p.m. Friday.
A deputy responded to the 13000 block of Route 736 to investigate a crash involving a 2007 Chrysler Sebring that lost control and left the roadway, striking a guardrail at 6:24 p.m. Friday. Lisa K. Sparks, 51, of Columbus was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
A deputy initiated a traffic stop for failure to control in the area of W. Fifth Street and Plum Street in Marysville at 8:35 p.m. Friday. Skylar P. Jones, 26, of Raymond was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and given a citation for failure to control. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy responded to the 25000 block of Lunda Road to investigate a sex complaint involving two minor children at 10:39 p.m. Friday.
A deputy met with a Columbus Airport Authority officer to take custody of Douglas Allen Price, 56, of Pickerington on an outstanding arrest warrant at 6:51 a.m. Saturday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies assisted the Plain City Police with a dispute at a residence on Church Street in Plain City at 9:53 a.m. Saturday.
A deputy responded to a business in the 9000 block of Heritage Drive to investigate a report of fraudulent activity on an account at 10:22 a.m. Saturday.
A deputy and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to a property damage crash at the intersection of Industrial Parkway and Mitchell Dewitt Road involving a 2019 Honda Passport that struck a pole at 12:23 p.m. Saturday. Brittany Marie Black, whose age was unlisted, of Marysville was issued a citation for failure to control.
A deputy responded to the 18000 block of Route 4 to investigate a threatening message sent via a social media website at 1:21 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy responded to the 21000 block of Evans Road to investigate a report of fraudulent activity on an account at 7:29 p.m. Saturday.
A Union County deputy met with a Marion County deputy to take custody of Allie Shannon Day, 25, of Marion for an outstanding arrest warrant at 8:23 p.m. Saturday. She was released on her own recognizance.
Deputies along with units from the Marysville Fire Department and Jerome Township Division of Fire responded to the 14000 block of Watkins Road for an injury crash involving a 1997 Honda Civic that left the roadway, rolled and came to rest in a yard at 11:26 p.m. Saturday. Cody Shumway, 27, of Marysville was issued a traffic citation for failure to control and operating a vehicle while under the influence.
Deputies responded to a residence in the 19000 block of Main Street in Broadway to investigate a dispute among acquaintances at 2:28 p.m. Sunday. The parties were separated.
Deputies assisted troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol with an unruly passenger on a Greyhound bus at 3:47 p.m. Sunday.
A deputy responded to a residence in the 10000 block of Pagoda Way to investigate unemployment fraud at 5:01 p.m. Sunday.
A deputy responded to Route 4 near Collins Avenue to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2009 Toyota Camry that was traveling southbound on Route 4 and struck a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado while attempting to make a U-turn at 6:09 p.m. Sunday. The driver of the Toyota, Reem Sweed, 40, of Dearborn, Michigan was issued a traffic citation for making a prohibited U-turn.
Deputies responded to U.S. 36 near Dover County Line Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2005 Honda CR-V that struck a deer at 11:06 p.m. Sunday.
