According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Nickolas Aaron Daniles, 26, of West Liberty and Thomas H. Lamb, 81, of Blues Creek Road that occurred on Stocksdale Drive at Milford Avenue at 3:08 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate Daniles was traveling east on Stocksdale Drive with the right of way while Lamb was stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of Milford Avenue and Stocksdale Drive. Lamb allegedly pulled out into the intersection, striking Daniles’ vehicle. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident. Lamb was cited for failure to yield the right of way. Daniles was found to be driving under suspension and was cited for an FRA/non-compliance suspension.
Police responded to a report of identity theft in the 1200 block of London Avenue at 4:06 p.m. Monday. The reporting person indicated he believed someone stole his identity.
Police responded to assist another agency in the 100 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 3:33 p.m. Monday.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 1300 block of W. Fifth Street at 4:40 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate a male employee stole from Village Pantry.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
As a result of a traffic stop on U.S. 33 at the westbound rest area, a deputy located drugs and drug paraphernalia at 1:28 a.m. Monday. Irvin G. McFarlin, 41, of Celina was issued a citation for driving under suspension. The drugs will be submitted to the Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Identification for testing.
A deputy investigated a property damage crash that occurred near the intersection of Route 4 and Collins Avenue involving a 2013 Nissan Altima that struck an unknown object at 6:26 a.m. Monday.
A deputy went to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of James R. Rivers, 49, of Richwood on an outstanding arrest warrant at 8:37 a.m. Monday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies responded to South Main Street near Magnetic Street, in Magnetic Springs, to investigate a dispute at 11:02 a.m. Monday.
A deputy investigated a sex offense that occurred at a residence on South Mill Street in Milford Center at 3:13 p.m. Monday.
Deputies along with the Jerome Township Division of Fire responded to a residence in the 7000 block of Dogwood Drive for a person attempting self-harm at 4:27 p.m. Monday.
A deputy met with a resident from the 19000 block of Shirk Road to investigate the theft of a game console at 4:52 p.m. Monday.
A deputy along with units from the Jerome Township Division of Fire responded to a residence in the 10000 block of Carmel Drive for a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 7:33 p.m. Monday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 17000 block of Allen Center Road to investigate a domestic dispute between a husband and wife at 9:33 p.m. Monday.
Deputies responded to a residence in the 24000 block of Perkins Road to investigate threatening messages sent via a social media website at 10:29 p.m. Monday.
