According to Plain City Police Department reports:
An officer assisted the Union County Sheriff’s Office with an alarm drop at Masi Labs on Memorial Drive at 5:03 a.m. May 2.
An officer received a referral from the Union County Department of Job and Family Services at 10 a.m. May 2. An incident report was taken.
Officers responded to Central Avenue at 2:06 p.m. May 2 for a report of a domestic dispute. The caller reported that her and her brother had a verbal altercation that turned physical. After further investigation, Trevor Fillinger, 31, of Plain City, was arrested and charged with domestic violence. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail. Amanda Knave, 28, of Plain City, was charged with disorderly conduct.
An officer observed a vehicle parked in a no parking zone on South Chillicothe Street at 8:04 p.m. May 2. The officer made contact with the owner and the vehicle was moved.
An officer responded to Conductor Drive at 5:56 p.m. May 1 for 911 follow-up. The officer made contact and was advised everything was OK.
Officers responded to Gay Street at 6:25 p.m. May 1 for a behavioral health issue and determined the individual was not a harm to herself or others.
Officers responded to Nighthawk Drive at 7:40 p.m. May 1 for a missing juvenile and a short time later the juvenile was reunited with a parent.
Officers observed individuals at a construction site on Caboose Court at 11:13 p.m. May 1. The officer made contact and confirmed they were construction employees.
An officer responded to Plain City Elementary School on South Chillicothe Street at 12:10 p.m. April 30 for a report of possible criminal damaging. An investigation is ongoing.
An officer responded to Jackson Street at 1:40 p.m. April 30 for a report of a possible theft. After further investigation, the officer learned the incident occurred in another jurisdiction and the caller was referred to the appropriate agency.
An officer was requested to deliver a message to a resident on North Avenue at 5:29 p.m. April 30. The officer made contact and relayed the message.
An officer assisted the Union County Sheriff’s Office with an arrestee on Route 161 at 8:53 p.m. April 30.
Officers responded to Madison Way at 9:45 p.m. April 30 for a report of a possible domestic disturbance. After further investigation, officers determined everything checked out to be fine.
An officer took possession of a found credit card at Shell/Plain City Village Mart on South Jefferson Avenue at 8:01 a.m. April 29. The bank requested the card be destroyed.
An officer took possession of a found debit card at Pastime Park on North Chillicothe Street at 10:31 a.m. April 29 and returned it the owner.
An officer responded to North Chillicothe Street at 12:37 p.m. April 29 for a loose canine complaint. The owner of the canine arrived and retrieved the canine and was given a warning for dogs at large.
Officers responded to Hometown Huddle on West Main Street at 11:42 p.m. April 29 for an alarm drop. Officers found the building secured and nothing out of the ordinary.
An officer assisted the Union County Sheriff’s Office with an alarm drop at Evolution Ag on U.S. 42 at 9:11 a.m. April 28.
Officers assisted the Union County Sheriff’s Office with serving a warrant on North Avenue at 8:53 a.m. April 28.
An officer assisted the Union County Sheriff’s Office with a BAC test at the Plain City Municipal Building on Village Boulevard at 1:03 a.m. April 28.
An officer assisted the Union County Sheriff’s Office with a well-being check on Mission Drive at 12:20 a.m. April 28.
An officer responded to South Chillicothe Street at 5:02 p.m. April 28 for a report of an unruly juvenile. The officer spoke with the juvenile and he was warned of possible consequences.
An officer responded to a residential lockout on Church Street at 1:48 p.m. April 27 and assisted the resident with gaining entry to the home.
An officer responded to Warrenton Drive at 11:30 p.m. April 27 for a parking complaint and determined the vehicle was parked legally.
An officer responded to West Main Street at 10:01 p.m. April 27 for a report of someone loading items into a U-Haul truck from a vacant building. After further investigation, the individual showed proof he purchased the items he was loading.
An officer responded to West Bigelow Avenue at 6:14 p.m. April 27 for a well-being check. The officer made contact and was advised everything was fine.
An officer responded to Willow Creek Drive at 1:18 p.m. April 27 for a solicitor complaint. Subsequently, Daniel Harrison, 23, of Westerville, was charged for soliciting without a permit.
An officer responded to Lantern Lane at 9:43 a.m. April 27 for a report of multiple vehicles parked illegally. Contact was made with all owners and the vehicles were moved.
An officer responded to a possible theft of donated items from the Good Life Thrift Store donation center on Perry Pike at 9:30 a.m. April 27. After further investigation, the subject returned the items and the business did not want to pursue charges. The subject was trespassed from the location.
An officer observed a vehicle parked at a construction site on Hofbauer Road at 7:38 p.m. April 27. The officer made contact and was advised the individual recently purchased land to have a house built.
An officer assisted the Union County Sheriff’s Office with an injury crash at Domino’s Pizza on West Main Street at 1:04 a.m. April 26.
