A 16-year-old Marysville girl was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead after she accidentally ran into the rear of another vehicle. The girl was driving a 2014 Honda Accord in the 900 block of North Maple Street at 3:03 p.m., Wednesday. She was stopped in traffic directly behind a 2023 Buick Enclave when her foot slipped off the brake and her Accord hit the back of the car in front.
Dakota Lee Adams, 32, of 277 Magnolia Drive, was issued a citation for use of illegal license plate at 5:35 p.m., Thursday, following a stop in the 18900 block of Northwest Parkway.
Paul Reid, 23, of Columbus, was arrested at 2:57 p.m., Thursday, on an arrest warrant
Larry G. Mannasmith, 70, of 10191 Fulton Creek Road, Radnor, was arrested at 124 Buerger St., Marysville, on a criminal trespassing warrant out of Champaign County.
Steven D. Carpenter, 52, of 17817 Navin Road, was cited for disorderly conduct for making an offensive gesture or noise at 9:56 p.m., Thursday, at a gas station in the 100 block of Cherry Street.
Police responded to a suicide attempt at 5:53 a.m., Thursday, at a home in the 100 block of Red Pine Drive.
Police responded to a home the 200 block of professional Parkway at 4:14 p.m., Thursday, on a menacing complaint. The case was marked as closed.
Police responded to a home in the 800 block of Lantern Drive, at 9:38 p.m., Thursday, on a complaint of telecommunications harassment.

A deputy was sent to the Franklin County Jail at 12:00 a.m., Thursday, to take custody of Aricka E. Flinders, 42, of Columbus, for an outstanding arrest warrant. Flinders was taken to Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were sent to a property in the 22000 block of Bear Swamp Road at 1:54 p.m., Thursday, to investigate a trespassing complaint involving an off-road motorcycle. No report was taken.
A deputy was sent to a home in the 22000 block of Rushsylvania Road at 2:59 p.m., Thursday, to investigate damage to a culvert pipe by a contractor. No report was taken.
William P. Cornett, 56, of Fayetteville, was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead following a three-vehicle crash. At 4:00 p.m., Thursday, Cornett was driving a 2019 Ford F-350 on Route 42 at Currier Road when he hit the back of a 2022 GMC Canyon which then hit the back of a 2018 International refuse truck. Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department and the Pleasant Valley Fire District responded to the scene. One victim was transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital. A crash report was taken.
At 6:07 p.m., Thursday, deputies investigated a dispute between a property owner and a motorist that occurred in the 15000 block of Route 36. No report was taken.
Deputies and units from the Northwestern Fire District were sent to a home in the 20000 block of Peoria Loop Road at 7:46 p.m., Thursday, for a domestic dispute between several family members. The parties were separated and no report was taken.
