To place 5.8 mill renewal levy on ballot

Board members voted unanimously to proceed with a request for a renewal of
an emergency tax levy. This levy originally began in 1996 as two smaller

Thompson hired as Village Administrator

At the Monday, Jan. 10 meeting of Village Council, Acting Village
Administrator Jim Thompson was permanently appointed to that position.
Mayor Bill Nibert, who had just cast the tie-breaking vote in favor of

    As 2004 ended with piles of snow and chilly temperatures, it afforded
snow-bound residents the chance to reflect on the last year¹s events and
accomplishments. Looking back, 2004 was a monumental year in many aspects
for Richwood and the surrounding community.
