To place 5.8 mill renewal levy on ballot

Board members voted unanimously to proceed with a request for a
renewal of
an emergency tax levy. This levy originally began in 1996 as two
smaller
levies, which were later combined into one generating $680,000. (for

Thompson hired as Village Administrator

Administrator Jim Thompson was permanently appointed to that

As 2004 ended with piles of snow and chilly temperatures, it
afforded
snow-bound residents the chance to reflect on the last yearıs events and
accomplishments. Looking back, 2004 was a monumental year in many aspects
for Richwood and the surrounding community.
