Gene Wiley receives honor from Ohio School Board Association |
Christmas Parade; Park lighting set for Saturday
The
holiday season will kick into full swing with the Richwood Area Business
Association (RBBA) sponsored annual Richwood Christmas Parade followed
by
the lighting of trees at Richwood Park. The parade, with the theme
"Christmas
Morning," is set to begin at 4 p.m.

both water and sewer rates when
solons met in regular session on Monday, Nov.
13 with members Von Beal and
Scott Jerew absent.

Tri-Rivers renewal passes
Union County voters turned out in
droves to cast their ballots at the
General Election held Tuesday, Nov. 7.
According to Karla Herron, Director
of the Union County Board of Elections,
17,076 people cast their ballots for
a 57.10% voter turnout, but not a
record.
Gene Wiley receives honor from Ohio School Board Association

Gene Wiley, who recently resigned from the Delaware-Union
Educational
Service Center (ESC) and Tri-Rivers Joint Vocational School
District (JVSD)
boards, is among five public school board members named to
the Ohio School
Boards Association's (OSBA) 2006 All-Ohio School Board. The
board members
will be recognized with the association's most prestigious
honor on
Wednesday, Nov. 15 during the 51st annual OSBA Capital Conference
and Trade
Show in Columbus.
RABA makes plans for holiday
season
Plans are underway for the up-coming holiday season in the Village
of
Richwood. Set to begin Wednesday, Nov. 15, the Great Holiday
Pie/Fudge
Giveaway will continue through Thursday, Dec. 7.
