services.

Police Chief addresses smash and grabs

We are now entering the summertime season and there are specific crimes
that the Richwood Police Department would like to make the public more
aware of. Smash and grabs are not a big problem in Richwood, but we do
want you to be aware of what you can do to not become a victim. This is
a crime of opportunity. Of the few smash and grabs we have had, the
victim's purse or other valuables were lying out in plain view for the
thief to see.
