Solar farm coming to county

York and Washington townships already have a variety of farms — beans, corn, dairy and beef.
But they could soon be getting a solar farm and with it an estimated $2-million in local taxes.
Acciona Energy USA Global LLC, (AEUG) a global renewable energy and infrastructure company, has filed for permission to construct an up to 325 MW solar powered electric generating facility on about 3,500 acres near the intersection of state routes 31 and 739.

Homecoming ceremony announced

Council looking to community for revitalization committee

Richwood Village Council has been discussing the immediate need for either tearing down the former town hall/opera house building or to renovate it. There has been an offer to tear down the facility for approximately $37,000. Council also knows that it could cost about $2 million to fix or replace the roof and do extensive work to completely renovate the building.

North Union School District prepares for renewal levy on November ballot

Jurors names drawn for duty

Council hears Dudley Circle concerns

Residents living on Dudley Circle attended the regular council meeting Monday, Oct. 19 to tell council that they are unable to get their mail delivered, due to street construction.
Contractor Jason Wills is installing new curbs, drains, sidewalks, etc. in the final construction of the new Dudley Circle street.
