Richwood Bank is expanding and remodeling its operations campus located in
Richwood. In the past two years, Richwood Bank has increased new customers

Auditor not a fan of proposed tax change
By Mac Cordell, Marysville J-T Reporter
Union County Auditor Andrea Weaver has expressed concerns about proposed
legislation that would change the way property tax in Ohio is assessed.
Last month, representatives Thomas Hall, R-Madison Twp. and Adam Bird of
Clermont County introduced HB 187, known as the Ohio Homeowners Relief
Act. The legislation would change the way properties are valued for tax
purposes.
“As legislators frequently do, they respond to the loudest voices, but
don’t always take or have the time to fully investigate the details of a
particular issue,” Weaver said. “That is definitely the case with this
‘Ohio Homeowners Relief Act.’”
