ROY M. ALLEN
Roy M. Allen, 52, of Florence, S.C., died Monday, February 18, 2008. He
was born in Lawrence County, Tenn., the son of Ruth Marie (Sigrist)
Allen and the late Ray Melvin Allen.

JOIE MARGARET BEVIS
Joie Margaret Bevis, 85, formerly of Richwood, died Saturday, March 22,
2008 at Community Healthcare Center in Marion. She was born December 1,
1922 in Richwood to the late Zell and Ruth (Stickel) Borland.

GERALDINE M. HECKER
Geraldine M. "Gerry" Hecker, 70, of Prospect, went home to be with the
Lord, on Saturday, March 22, 2008, at her home, after an extended
illness. orn March 3, 1938, in Marion, she was a daughter of the late
George and Irene (Lane) Good.

LUCAS LAUGHREY
Lucas Laughrey, 48, of Marion, died unexpectedly Friday, March 14, 2008,
at Marion General Hospital. He was born January 19, 1960, in Kenton.

LOIS JEFFERS PARISH
Lois Jeffers Parish, 88, a resident of Anchorage, Alaska, died
peacefully Thursday, March 13, 2008 at Marlow Manor, with her daughter
and Providence Hospice and Marlow Manor staff at her side. Born May 14,
1919, in Woodsfield, she was a daughter of the late John and Elsie
Jeffers.

JANIS J. DAVIS
Janis Jean Davis, 82, of Magnetic Springs, died peacefully Wednesday,
March 12, 2008, at her home, surrounded by her loving and devoted
family. She was born September 22, 1925, in Leesburg Township, to the
late Eldon Jennings and Dorothy D. (Daniels) Ballard.

FRANKLIN GERFEN
Franklin Gerfen, 95, of Prospect, died Friday, March 14, 2008, at
Alterra Sterling House, of Marion. He was born August 1, 1912, in
Richland Township, to the late Louis Charles and Clara (Klingel) Gerfen.

LOREN W. GAST
Loren W. Gast, 82, of Prospect, died Saturday, March 15, 2008, at
Community Healthcare Center, following a brief illness. Born on July
10, 1925, at his parents home, in Prospect, he was the son of the late
Paul B. and Irene E. (Dodrill) Gast.

FRANK M. BLACKBURN
Frank M. Blackburn, 90, formerly of Forest, now residing in West
Liberty, died at Green Hills Care Center, West Liberty, on Wednesday,
March 5, 2008. He was born Aug. 16, 1917, in Byesville, to the late
Thomas S. and M. Mildred (Spaid) Blackburn.

JOHN E. LEWIS
John E. Lewis, 79, of Richwood, died Friday, March 7, 2008, at Marion
General Hospital, following a short illness.
Born December 11, 1928, in the Richwood area, he was a son of the late
John L. and Irene (Kinikin) Lewis.

DORA MAE FOOS
Dora Mae Foos, 88, of Richwood, died Sunday evening, March 2, 2008, at
Memorial Hospital of Union County. She was born November 26, 1919, in
Byhalia, to the late Harry and Anna (DeBolt) Ruhl.

DEAN E. LEIBOLD
Dean E. Leibold, 88, formerly of LaRue, died Wednesday Feb. 27, 2008, at
Summerville at Outlook Manor, in Westerville. Born December 12, 1919, in
Union County, he was a son of the late John William and Ethel (Dodge) Leibold.

MARY L. McELROY
Mary L. McElroy, 78, of Richwood, died early Sunday morning, March 2,
2008, at Memorial Hospital of Union County, in Marysville.
She was born November 5, 1929, in Marion, to the late John D. and
Lillian (Huff) Bevis.

RUTH E. SIVEY
Ruth E. Sivey, 90, formerly of Essex, died Wednesday evening, February
27, 2008 at Kingston, in Marion. Born March 12, 1917, in Richwood, she
was a daughter of the late Elmer and Anna Catherine (Daum) Sivey.
