home. She was born May 31, 1951, in Urbana,
to Charles and Glenna Louise
(Piper) Jordan.

David Lee Ray, 61, of Richmond Ind., formerly
of LaRue, died Tuesday,
June 16, 2009 at the VA Medical Center in Dayton.
He was born
September 15, 1947, in Kenton, to the late William D. and
Georgia
(Rogers) Ray.
MARY ALICE SLACK
Mary Alice Slack, 87, of Marion, died Saturday, June 20,
2009 at
Marion General Hospital.
Born November 24, 1921, in Marion
County, she was the daughter of the
late George Eugene and H. Helen (Pace)
Schreck.

Norma “Jean” McClung McGuire, 84, of Marion,
passed away Tuesday,
June 9. Funeral arrangements were handled by

internationally renowned leader in
the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology,
died peacefully Sunday June
7, 2009, in Bloomington, Minn.
He was born
January 20, 1922, to Irl Goff and Kathryn (Speyer) Zuspan.
LUCILE MARY (LAUER) CAREY
Lucile Mary (Lauer) Carey, 99, of Green Camp,
passed away at her home
early Monday morning, June 8, 2009. She went to be
with the Lord.
She was born March 13, 1910 at the family home in Norton to
the late
Herbert Adam and Cloa Melinda (Lehner) Lauer.

Ronald E. Shirea Sr. 66, of Bucyrus, formerly of LaRue, died after a
short, yet courageous fight with cancer on June 2, 2009 at OSU
Hospital
in Columbus. He was born April 25, 1943 in Kenton, to the
late John S.
(Tim) and Letha (Denman) Shirea.
