Edgar Nelson “Ed” Thompson, 39, of Marysville, died unexpectedly 
Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at his home.
He was born December 31, 1970 and was predeceased by his father, 
Byron Edgar Thompson.

RICHARD ALLEN ADAMS
Richard Allen Adams, 44, formerly of LaRue, died Sunday August 22, 
2010  at St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville.  He was born September 4, 
1965, in Kenton, Ohio, to Charles J. and Vivian D. (Mulligan) Adams.

STEVEN S. HAYNES
Steven S. Haynes, 48 of LaRue, died Sunday, August 22, 2010. He was 
born March 6, 1962 in Lamar, Colo., to Curtis and Delphene 
(Riedlinger) Haynes, who both survive in LaRue.

GLADYS LENORA RIPPEY
Gladys Lenora Rippey, 98 of Marion, died Wednesday evening, August 
18, 2010, at Marion General Hospital. She was born September 17, 
1911, in South Zanesville, to the late Wesley Emmett and Mary 
Caroline (Ramsey) Bole.

DOROTHY H. WEBB
Dorothy H. Webb, 90, formerly of Richwood, died Sunday afternoon, 
August 22, 2010, at the Partners of Marion.
She was born September 4, 1919, in Lawrence County, Ky., to the late 
Austin and Vadie (Holbrook) Webb.

VERNON ALDERSON
Vernon Alderson, 89, of Raymond, died Thursday morning, Aug. 12, 
2010, at Heartland of Marysville. The family is being assisted by 
Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood.

JON DEAN BROOKS
Jon Dean Brooks, 34 of London, Ohio, died Sunday evening, August 
15, 2010, at Community Hospital in Springfield. He was owner of Auto 
Enhancers in London.
He was born February 16, 1976, in Barberton, Ohio, to Mike and Rose 
Brooks, of Marysville.

CAROL “JEAN” DARLAND
Carol “Jean” Darland, 65 of LaRue, Ohio, died Saturday, August 14, 
2010 at her residence. She was born December 25, 1944, in Quincy, 
Ky., to the late Clarence and Hester Mae (Harris) Thomas.

JENNY SUE MAYBERRY
Jenny Sue Mayberry, 68 of Mechanicsburg, passed away Friday, August 
13, 2010, in Mercy Memorial Hospital, Urbana. She was born February 
9, 1942, in Richwood, the daughter of Benjamin Willis and Goldie 
Margurite (Burkepile) Daymude.

JOHN E. MOHR
John E. Mohr, 88, formerly of Richwood, died Sunday morning, August 
15, 2010 at his residence at Seaton Square in Marion. He was born 
July 2, 1922, in Marion County, to the late Clifford and Verna Mae 
(Woodard) Mohr.

MILDRED M. DAVIDS
Mildred M. Davids,  92, of Sylvania, formerly of Prospect, died early 
Sunday morning, August 8, 2010 at Sunset Village in Sylvania.  She 
was born May 16, 1918 in Monroeville to the late Herbert and Lena 
(Reinhart) Wade.

LEONARD RAY “HOODY” HOODLET
Leonard Ray “Hoody” Hoodlet, 74 of Richwood, died unexpectedly 
Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010.  He was born October 29, 1935 in Columbus to 
the late Clarence Wayne and Viola Eleanor (Patterson) Hoodlet.

EDDIE F. PETERSHEIM
Eddie F. Petersheim,  28  of Hardin County, died suddenly Tuesday, 
Aug. 3, 2010.  He was born June 21, 1982 in LaRue to Joni W. and 
Fannie Mae (Slabaugh) Petersheim of Marlette, Mich.

ANTHONY WAYNE “TONY” YATES
Anthony Wayne “Tony” Yates, 53, of Richwood, died unexpectedly in his 
sleep Sunday morning, Aug. 8, 2010 at his home.  He was born April 
26, 1957 in Urbana to William Raymond and the late Naomi Mae (Slone) 
Yates.
