Stuart H. Simmons, 64, of Brookville, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, May 20, 2013. He was born in Marion, on Feb. 17, 1949.

ROBERT VERLIN BUCKLEY
Robert Verlin Buckley, 86, of Marion, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at the Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky. He was born May 10, 1927, in Marion, to the late Lawrence Lee and Beulah (Simmons) Buckley.

THOMAS DUANE FORD
Thomas Duane Ford, 79, of LaRue, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 . He was born May 7, 1934, in Marion, to the late Andrew D. and Ruth V. (Baker) Ford.

EDDY RAY PENIX
Eddy Ray Penix, 60, of Richwood, died Monday evening, May 13, 2013, at the Ohio State University Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 27, 1952, in Marion to the late James Melvin and Iretta (Conley) Penix.

EVELYN PRESTON
Evelyn Preston, 88, of Richwood, died Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at the DeWolfe House in Marion. She was born March 27, 1925, in Milford Center to the late Arthur Garfield and Jennie Mae (Debolt) Parthemer.

GLORENE Y. DROWN
Glorene Y. Drown, 99, of Prospect, died early Saturday morning May 11, 2013, at the Community Health Care Center in Marion.
She was born Sept. 12, 1913, in Marion, to the late George Washington and Gera (Cowan) Griffiths.

GUY EUGENE GODDARD
Guy Eugene Goddard, 77, of the Magnetic Springs area, died Monday evening, May 6, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Dec. 8, 1935, in Putnam County, W. Va., to the late Grant Wesley and Selma Vay (Jividen) Goddard.

ERNEST L. “ERNIE” JACKSON
Ernest L. “Ernie” Jackson, 65, of Marysville, died unexpectedly Saturday evening May 11, 2013, at Memorial Hospital.
He was born Dec. 17, 1947, in Marion, to the late Edgar I. and Leona M. Griffith Jackson.

KENNETH E. JEREW
Kenneth E. Jerew, 89, resident of Byhalia for over 55 years, died Friday morning, May 3, 2013, at the Gables at Green Pastures in Marysville. He was born August 25, 1923, in Marion County, to the late William and Martha Della (Douglas) Jerew.

RONALD L. “JOHNNIE” LONG
Ronald L. “Johnnie” Long, 97, of Prospect, beloved husband of the late Carroll (Dix) Long, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at his home.
Born on Nov. 29, 1915, to Harry A. Long and Malinda (Krause) Long, he was a lifelong resident of Marion County.
