The Marysville Choral Boosters will hold its annual Cabaret Night Saturday at Marysville High School at 7 p.m.
Variety Show acts will be performed by members of the Marysville Swingers Unlimited Show Choir and include singers, dancers, musicians and more. In addition, the Swingers Unlimited and the Bunsold Middle School Mini Swingers will debut portions of their 2019 competition shows.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and attendees can look over silent auction items featuring more than 140 baskets, including items from the Columbus and Cincinnati Zoos, Shadow Box Live, local shops, lake vacations, and more. Guests will be able to bid on fall baskets, golf packages, kid’s baskets, Christmas baskets, Ohio State memorabilia, Monarch baskets, the always popular Director’s basket, and wreaths decorated with gift cards from area restaurants.
Tickets can be reserved in advance at choirville.org or purchased at the door while they last.
Proceeds from the event will be used to support the Swingers Unlimited competition season. This year the show choir will be traveling to competitions at Hurricane, West Virginia, Hamilton, Twinsburg, Teays Valley and Fairfield. The group will also perform at Heart of America in Orlando, Florida.
The Swingers program will host its own invitational, the Marysville Showcase, on Jan. 18 (middle schools) and Jan. 19 (high schools).
