Several members of the Marysville High School football team have earned second-team and special-honorable mention for the 2020 season in the Ohio Capital Conference.
The Monarchs won the OCC Cardinal Division championship and posted a 6-2 record.
A total of four members of the Monarch defensive unit second team accolades.
They are linebacker Aidan Lambert, defensive back Tanner Powers, lineman Erryl Will and lineman Zach McMinn.
Lambert finished with 27 solo tackles and 29 assists. He also came through with 2.5 sacks.
Powers picked off two passes in the secondary and had 21 solo tackles.
Will finished with 28 total tackles and four sacks.
McMinn assisted on 10 tackles and tallied eight solo tackles.
Special mention honors went to offensive lineman Colby Kerns.
He allowed only two sacks this season.
Tight end Nick Kessler was named honorable mention.
He was a key blocker for a Monarch ground game that finished with 2,904 yards in eight games.
Kessler also caught one pass for 16 yards.
