The North Union girls basketball team struggled against Tecumseh on Wednesday.
The Lady Cats fell, 83-27, to bring their record to 6-5 for the season.
The Lady Arrows let the offense fly in the opening stanza as the Lady Cats watched a 31-4 lead develop by the end of the quarter.
Tecumseh kept the offensive tempo high in the second quarter, outscoring NU 24-3 to extend its margin to 55-7 at the half.
With the game well in hand, the Arrows decided to slow their offensive drive in the second half.
That allowed NU to pick up 20 points, splitting each quarter at 10 apiece.
The Lady Cats struggled from the field, converting 16% of their attempts, while going 7-13 from the charity stripe.
North Union is scheduled to return to action Saturday against Central Buckeye Conference opponent Benjamin Logan.
