Justin Brackenridge of Fairbanks recently placed second during the Heart of Ohio Junior Golf Association’s “Best of the Best” tournament.
The tourney was played at Lincoln Hills in Upper Sandusky.
Golfers played 18 holes from the white tees on the par 72 course.
Brackenridge and Marion Pleasant’s Alex Pratt tied for top honors after regulation with scores of 71.
A playoff ensued and Pratt secured his title with a bogey, leaving Brackenridge in second place.
Nathan Stewart of Delaware Christian nabbed third at 77, while a tie for fourth at 80 was shared by Jacob Beaschler of Harding and Minoy Shah of Pleasant.
Fairbanks’Alex Crowe was sixth at 82, followed by Chase Brackenridge of Delaware St. Mary at 91 and Thomas Kaufman of River Valley at 92.
The organization will hold its year-end awards banquet on Thursday at Kings Mill near Waldo.
