A total of four Pigskin Pickers had winning records this week.
Another finished just a game under .500 and the other one really stunk up the joint.
Reporter Will Channell was the surprise Picker of the week as he posted his best record of the season at 9-2.
Publisher Kevin Behrens went 7-4 while reporter Mac Cordell and sports writer Sam Dillon continue to fall like a knife with posted marks of 6-5.
Managing editor Chad Williamson slipped to 5-6, while sports editor Tim Miller was absolutely horrible at 4-7.
Behrens remains in first place overall with a 64-21 record.
Dillon (62-23) and Cordell (61-24) are nipping at his heels.
Williamson and Miller are deadlocked at 58-27.
Channel is still in the basement, but has climbed to within a game of Williamson and Miller at 57-28.
This week’s guest Pickers are Dean Cook, Dave Laslow and Bob Van Hoose.

Disclaimers:
Williamson: “The games are kind of lame this week, but after last week’s upsets, I welcome an easier schedule. I really appreciate Behrens going against the Vegas odds and picking Michigan to lose two weeks in a row. Old hurricane Kevin started the season as a category 5, but he’ll finish as an El Nino. Kevy Bosa will never finish what he started.”
Miller: “Boy, did I stink last week! The Panthers dropped a tough one, JA lost its momentum in the second half and I can’t explain how the Monarchs managed such little offense against UA. Hopefully, I’ll have a better week this time around.”
Behrens: “Michigan fans were giddy when the news of Bosa hit the wire Tuesday, Williamson was no different. Laughing like a school girl in his office, he kept calling people in to see the story he was reading about OSU losing one of its best players. Ole One-eyed Willy, who studies each week for his picks and fantasy games is one game out of the basement. So what could really be funny is if former Bowling Green band member, Young Will Channell keeps up his new-found picking prowess, Williamson could be buying pizza again as he did two years ago.”
Cordell: “What a fun year this has been so far! The playoffs have started already for several teams and for most of our pickers. Some are trying not to buy pizza and others are trying to keep Crowing Kevin quiet. Either way, we are starting to get desperate.”
Dillon: “It’s coming down to the end of the regular high school season and the playoffs are fast approaching. Who will get in? Now, it just come down to winning out the season to secure those coveted eight spots. North Union could be one of them with what could turn out to be a big win over Buckeye Valley this week.”
Channell: “Last week’s strategy of picking with a little reckless abandon paid off, so let’s see if it works again!”
Cook: “Good luck to the local teams and Go Bucks!”
Laslow: “Good luck to the local teams and Go Bucks!”
Van Hoose: “Good luck to the local teams and Go Bucks!”
