For the first time in recent memory, all five high school football teams in the Union County area are listed among the top 12 teams in their region.
The Ohio High School Athletic Association released its weekly computer poll early Tuesday evening.
The top eight teams in each region at the conclusion of the regular season will earn state playoff berths.
The top four teams in each region will earn first-round home games for the post-season.
The highest ranked local team is North Union.
The Wildcats (4-2) are listed at No. 6 in Region 18 of Division V.
