Fairbanks’ varsity boys golf team surpassed Triad Monday evening at Darby Creek Golf Course as the Panthers tallied a low of 158 compared the Cardinals’ 208.
In what turned out to be a drippy afternoon, the Panthers’ team score of 158 was spearheaded by standout Alex Crowe who earned medalist honors with the lowest score of the day, 35, for both teams.
Contributing to the team’s Ohio Heritage Conference win included Chase Brackenridge, 38, Cole Eger, 41, Andrew Crowe, 44, Tyler Uffermanm, 46 and Devin Emans, 54.
Triad’s final 208 team score was led by Adam Mroczkowski, who shot a team low of 47. The Cardinals’ final score was contributed by Evan Ziegler, 48, Caleb Hostetler, 55 and Braydan Hoffman, 58.
Fairbanks is currently in the driver’s seat leading the OHC North division with a 16-0 conference record — 16-1 overall in the regular season.
Triad currently sits in fourth in the OHC North division with a 6-8 team record.
