Alexander Crowe of Fairbanks has time-after-time stayed near the top of the pack in the Heart of Ohio Junior Golf Tour. This weeks contest held at Kings Mill Golf Club in Waldo saw Crowe shot a 4-over-par 74 to end his 18 holes in a tie with Minoy Shah of Pleasant to force a playoff hole. Shah came out on top, paring the hole, to take the 16-18 division title on the sixth stop on the tour.
Crowe started out his day in the hole shooting a bogey on the 363-yard par 4 opening hole, but was able to wipe away the early miscue with a birdie at the 162-yard par 3 hole three to pull even. Crowe two-putted his way to a bogey on hole five and found his second birdie of the day at the 122-yard par 3 at hole eight to help take a 1-over-par 36. The score was good enough to take a one-stroke lead over Shah into the back nine.
Crowe struggled on the back nine picking up three bogeys at holes 11, 14 and 18 to finish out with a 74 and force a playoff round.

Ufferman tallied a single birdie on the day at hole three, while collecting par two times. Andrew Crowe of Fairbanks also tallied a 16-over-par 86 to tie for eighth place. Andrew knocked in one birdie on the 444-yard par 5 hole 15, while tapping in five pars for the day.
