The Panthers of Fairbanks held their “SpecTrackular” event Monday where the Panther boys were able to top teams from Jonathan Alder and Bishop Watterson. The FHS boys tallied 113 points to win first place, while the Lady Panthers finished second with 57.
Jon Alder took second in the boys events with 33 points and third in the ladies’ events with 38.
The FHS boys took the top spot in 12 of the 16 events.
Kyle Craig was first in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.99, while Will Cochrane took first in the 200-meter dash in 23.7.
Kaleb Bosworth broke the tape in the 400-meter dash with a time of 53.7.
Jeremy Ziegler was able to pull off a two tenths of second win in the 3200-meter run with a time of 11:28.16.
Nate Timmons claimed the 110 hurdles with a time of 16.3 and followed up with a win in the 300 hurdles in 43.71.
The Panthers swept the relay events.
The 4 x 100 team of Gage Wilson, Riordin Stauffer, Braeden Fairchild and Craig won in a time of 47.42.
The 4 x 200 foursome of Timmons, Craig, Bosworth and Cochrane cruised to a first place finish with a time of 1:34.67.
The 4 x 400 team of Wilson, William Anderson, Bosworth and Cochrane took first with a time of 3:51.
Fairbanks finished its sweep with a win in the 4 x 800 in a time of 9:10. The team was composed of Trey Good, Bosworth, Mason Smith and Tyler Beem.
Cochrane also had a strong showing in the field events, taking first in the high jump with a height of 6-1.
Timmons won the long jump with a distance of 19-08.5.
The Pioneers also found the top spot in several events.
Colyn McDaniel took first in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:13, while Zach Hicks ran the 1600 in a time of 4:49.
Daniel Heinig helped the Pioneers take second at the meet by winning both the shot put and discus.
Heinig had a toss of 49-5 in the shot and 147-11 in the discus.
The following athletes took second place at the meet:
-100 dash: Fairchild, Fairbanks, 12.07;
-200 dash: Craig, Fairbanks, 24.86;
-400 dash: Good, Fairbanks, 55.82;
-800 run: Smith, Fairbanks, 2:16;
-1600 run: Caleb Freyhof, Jon Alder, 5:08;
-3200 run: Anders Rege, Fairbanks, 11:28.39;
-110 hurdles: William Findley, Fairbanks, 16.31;
-300 hurdles: Findley, Fairbanks, 44.61;
-High jump: Braylon Green, Fairbanks, 5-08;
-Long jump: Green, Fairbanks, 18-08.5;
-Shot put: Parker Horn, Fairbanks, 46-09;
-Discus: Sam Rengert, Fairbanks, 126-0.
The Lady Panthers had a strong showing at their host event by placing first in six of the 16 events.
Kalor Greve was able to claim first in the 1600-meter run with a time of 6:04, while Kate Ruff took first in the 3200-meter run with a time of 15:38.
The 4 x 100 relay team of Linsey Eddy, Meghan Wenger, Avery Groves and Emily Kidmose took first with a time of 56.65, while the 4 x 200 team of Eddy, Wenger, Samantha Adkins and Groves won with a time of 2:01.
The 4 x 800 team of Adeline Fitzwater, Greve, Kaidie Carstensen and Gracie Hubbs finished first with a time of 10:45.
Anna Poling was able to represent the Lady Panthers at the top of podium in the field events, taking first in the long jump with a distance of 13-02.5.
The Lady Pioneers claimed first in three events with Maddy Killian taking the top spot in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:26.
Killian helped her 4 x 400 relay team of Elaina Winslow, Reggan Grey and Maddie Daivs take first with a time of 4:29.
Killian wrapped her first place effort with a leap of 4-11 in the high jump to win the event.

-200 dash: Eddy, Fairbanks, 29.95;
-800 run: Winslow, Jon Alder, 2:26;
-1600 run: Ruff, Fairbanks, 6:32;
-3200 run: Kai, Van Dyke, Fairbanks, 17:28;
-100 hurdles: Olivia Vollrath, Fairbanks, 19.4;
-300 hurdles: Vollrath, Fairbanks, 56.75;
-Shot put: Georgia Wheeler, Jon Alder, 29-07;
-Discus: Wheeler, Jon alder, 88-03.
Fairbanks will return to action Friday when they travel to Mechanicburg.
