Fairbanks’ Alex Crowe fired a one-under-par 71 on Monday in Bucyrus.
In doing so, Crowe captured his first title of the season during a Heart of Ohio Junior Golf Association tournament.
The event was held at the Golf Club of Bucyrus.
Crowe’s round included a quartet of pars and seven birdies.
His outing allowed him to win the 16-18 age bracket by one stroke over Alex Pratt of Marion Pleasant.
Minoy Shah of Pleasant shot 79 for third, while Logan Niese of Buckeye Central and Pleasant’s Mason Rinehart shared fourth with 81’s.
Isaac Dillon of Elgin was next at 82.
Grant Bentley of Northmor rallied his score with ten pars to top the 13-15 division at 81.
Nathan McMullen of Galion shot 84 for the runner-up spot.
Chase Brackenridge of Fairbanks picked up third place by carding an 87.
The next HOJGA tournament will be held at the Marysville Golf Course on Wednesday, June 23.
