Fairbanks’ girls cross-country squad took third-place honors during the Ohio Heritage Conference meet on Saturday.
West Liberty-Salem captured top team honors with 20 points.
The Lady Tigers were followed by Cedarville-58, Fairbanks-67 and Mechanicsburg-92.
Northeastern, Greenon, Madison-Plains, Triad and Southeastern did not have enough runners for team scores.
Local runners finished as follows:
-Addie Thrush (F), fourth, 20:31.7; Rachael Hoover (F), fifth, 21:03.1; Elaina Lahmers (F), seventh, 21:29; Abby Overfield (T), 26th, 24:56.7; Kayden Fields, (F), 38th, 27:16.7; Tabitha Gaier (T), 40th, 27:56; and Alondra Bosworth (F), 46th, 31:10.5.
West Liberty also won the boys meet with 21 points.
Mechanicsburg was the runner-up with 62, followed by Cedarville-66, Greeneview-109, Greenon-128 and Fairbanks-136.
Triad, Springfield Catholic Central, Northeastern, Madison-Plains and Southeastern did not field complete teams.
