The Lady Panther volleyball squad had very little trouble in winning at Cedarville 25-8, 25-7, 25-14 on Thursday.
Fairbanks improved to 12-1 overall and 8-0 in the Ohio Heritage Conference.

-Kelsey Thorbahn: 12/12 serving, nine points, 18/19 passing, 8/11 attacks, three kills;
-Kas. Carstensen: 16/16 serving, 12 points, 11/13 attacks, six kills, three blocks;
-Kai. Carstensen: 13/13 setting, seven assists, 18/19 attacks, nine kills;
-Grace Tomblin: 8/9 serving, six points, 20/21 passing;
-Piper Huston: 12/14 passing;
-Mackenleigh Greene: 6/6 serving, five points, 9/9 attacks, three kills;
-Samantha Picklesimer: 5/5 attacks, three kills;
-Cassie Lamb: 13/14 serving, 11 points, 40/40 setting, 13 assists;
-Emma Griffey: 5/5 attacks, two kills, four blocks.
Lady Cats remain unbeaten in CBC
The Lady Cats of North Union remain unstoppable in the Central Buckeye Conference as they knocked off Indian Lake in three sets to remain unbeaten.
North Union was able to battle in the first set to take the early lead against the Lady Lakers before winning, 25-21.
NU took the second game with ease, 25-12, and completed the sweep with a 25-16 victory.
The duo of Journey Blevins and Lissie Michael combined for 30 kills and also helped keep the floor clean with 29 combined digs.
Josie Duncan helped from the back row with 33 assists.
The Lady Cats now sport a 4-0 record in the CBC with a 6-2 overall mark.
They will stay on the road as they travel to the Lima Bath Invitational on Saturday.
Lady Pioneers win
Jonathan Alder’s volleyball team improved to 8-1 with a 25-9, 25-14, 25-11 triumph over Bellefontaine.
Ava Francis tallied 16 kills and four blocks, while Corinne Parker finished with 11 kills.
Sydney Beard had a perfect night on passing with six receptions and four digs.
Hunter Kaltenbach had nine digs, while Kyli Ricker served 10-of-11 with one ace.
The Lady Pioneers, who will host Pleasant on Monday, surpassed Cincinnati Roger Bacon in the state coaches poll.
JA is now ranked No. 1 in Division II.
Lady Monarchs drop match
MHS’ varsity volleyball team fell to Dublin Coffman in three sets.
The Lady Shamrocks won 25-7, 25-15, 25-8.
The score does not illustrate the play on the court,” said MHS coach Bethany Bentz.
The injured and ill Lady Monarchs struggled to sustain energy throughout the match.
“Despite the illnesses, the girls played every point, competed for each point and worked to make Coffman earn each point.
“Our goal for this weekend is for the ladies to get back to being healthy and bring the energy to the court next week,” she said.
The Lady Monarchs have two home matches next week.
MHS will face Olentangy on Educators Night on Tuesday and Upper Arlington on Thursday.
As a team on Thursday, the Lady Monarchs had four solo blocks, 13 block assists and 10 kills.
MHS had 22 successful digs.
Bunsold squads triumph
Marysville’s seventh and eighth-grade squads beat Bexley.
The seventh-grade won 25-19, 25-16.
Ella Morris led the team with eight aces and Elley Channel had two.
Abby Stinemetz and Kennedy Yurkovich combined for nine digs.
The eighth-grade claimed a 25-15, 25-9 victory.
Alivia Codner led the Monarchs with 10 aces, while Sophie Little contributed nine.
Morgan Shick had nine digs, while Bella Fox and Natalie McNicholas each tallied seven.
Shick notched nine kills and Katie Palmer had seven.
