The Fairbanks girls soccer team dropped a hard-fought battle against Grandview by a score of 2-1 on Monday.
The match was tied 0-0 at halftime.
The Lady Panthers trailed 2-0 late in the game before Samantha Adkins’ corner kick tallied the team’s lone goal.
FHS coach Randy Spain credited the defense for playing well for most of the contest.
Macy Wanamaker notched 11 saves as Fairbanks slipped to 5-2-1.
