Northeastern became the latest victim of Fairbanks’ varsity softball squad.
The Lady Panthers upped their record to 8-0-1 overall and 5-0 in the Ohio Heritage Conference with an 11-4 victory on Tuesday.
Fairbanks plated seven runs over the first couple of innings and added a pair of scores in both the fourth and fifth.
Northeastern tallied two runs in the second and a pair in the third.
Macy Kise ripped three hits and drove in a pair of runs.
She also was the winning pitcher as she allowed five hits and struck out two.
Kyah Hendren and Tiffini Harper both notched two hits.
Harper drove in a couple of runs.
Anna Dulle led the team with four RBIs.
“We are playing some really good ball and hitting well,” said Fairbanks coach Amy Sines. “Our defense is making some great plays to help keep people off the bases.”

triumphs
Fairbanks’ baseball squad put a 5-1 verdict in the books against Northeastern.
The triumph upped the Panthers’ overall record to 6-4 and their OHC mark at 4-1.
FHS held a 2-1 lead going into the bottom of the fifth.
The Panthers tacked on a trio of insurance runs in the home half of the frame.
Aiden Luellen came up with two of Fairbanks’ seven hits.
Also hitting safely were Cole Justus, Zavier Payne, Hayden Queen, Carson Reames and Max Snyder.
Snyder pitched 5 2/3 innings for the victory. He surrendered five hits, fanned seven and issued two free passes.
Owen Woody struck out three during 1 1/3 innings of work.

JVs win
The Marysville JV softball team beat Buckeye Valley 13-3 in six innings.
Kylie Levings went the distance in the pitching circle. She struck out eight for the victory.
Addison Altizer led the offense with three hits, including a home run.
Jovie Traucht also hit a home run.
Abigail Bryant and Savannah Jenkins both contributed a pair of hits.
