The Fairbanks Middle School boys and girls track and field squads took top honors during Thursday’s North Union Invitational.
The Panther boys ran away from the field by scoring 144 points.
Marion Grant was the runner-up with 86, followed by Ridgemont-81, Pleasant-65, North Union-42, Elgin-33, Village Academy-seven and St. John’s Lutheran-seven.
The margin of victory was much tighter for the Lady Panthers.
They edged Marion Grant for championship honors by a score of 113.33-112.
Pleasant was third with 102.33, followed by North Union-67.33, Columbus School for Girls-35, Village Academy-13, Elgin-eight, St. John’s-four and Ridgemont-two.
