Marysville High School alumni and professional golfer Stephen Gangluff has made his way back onto the Web.com Tour.
Gangluff appeared in one Web.com Tour event last season at the LECOM Health Challenge tournament at Peek n’ Peak Resort in New York.
He tied for 34th place and took home $3,064.
Gangluff will be making a new appearance on the tour after qualifying for the Evan Scholars Invitational at The Clen Club Golf Course in Glenview, Ill.
Gangluff qualified for the event on Monday during a contest at White Deer Run Golf Course.
The Ohio State University graduate tied for second place with a six-under par 66 to advance to the Web.com event.
Gangluff pared his opening three holes before finding his rhythm on hole 4 for a birdie and continue the trend through the opening nine holes to tally a 5-under par 31.
To open the back nine, Gangluff birdied and found himself at 7-under par through 14 holes.
Miscues on holes 15 and 18 ended Gangluff’s day at 6-under.
Gangluff is schedule to tee off at 3:05 p.m. on Thursday for the opening round of the Evan Scholars Invitational.
