A trio of local golfers was among the top placers during a rain-shortened Heart of Ohio junior event on Tuesday.
Inclement weather limited the event at Lincoln Hills in Upper Sandusky to nine holes for older age brackets.
It was the first event of the Heart of Ohio Junior Golf Association season.
Alex Crowe of Fairbanks tied with Pleasant’s Alex Pratt for fourth in the 16-18 division.
They both shot 40s.
Minoh Shay of Pleasant won the division with a one-under-par 35.
Chase Brackenridge of FHS shot a 45 and placed third in the 13-15 bracket.
Logan Keller of Galion took top honors in that age division with a 40.
Jenson Stover of North Union earned fourth place in the 12 and under division.
Those golfers played five holes due to rain.
He finished with a 47.
Alex Yancey of Pleasant nabbed a birdie to win the youngest division with a 27.
