“It was nice to see a team in Central Crossing that we haven’t competed against all year after seeing some familiar opponents last weekend at the Regional duals,” said Marysville head coach Shawn Andrews. “We are fighting the injury and flu bugs, but it was great to see guys like Emilio Guerrero have success when their names were called to be in the line-up.”
The Monarchs will compete in the All-North wrestling tournament this weekend.
Competition will be held at Dublin Jerome High School, beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
“There will be some familiar faces in Delaware Hayes and Upper Arlington but we also get to see Central District schools such as Westerville South, Westerville Central, Dublin Jerome, Reynoldsburg, Pickerington Central, Olentangy Orange and Hilliard Darby,” said Andrews. “Delaware Hayes and Westerville Central will be in our sectional on Feb. 29.”
