The Heart of Ohio Golf Association season finished their season at Valley View Golf Course. Justin Brackenridge of Fairbanks was able to break into the top three in the 16-18 division with a 6-over 78.
Brackenridge played up and down on the front nine, collecting birdies on holes four and nine to finish at 3-over 39. Brackenridge was able to keep pace with the course on the back nine until hole 14. The 440-yard par four hole gave Brackenridge some trouble as he had to settle for bogey, but Brackenridge was able to answer with birdie on the next hole.
Brackenridge bogied his next two holes to finish with a 78. Todd Crowe II, of Fairbanks, took seventh place after turning in a 13-over 85 after 18 holes of golf.
Crowe struggled throughout the course not able to find the bottom of the cup in anything less than par. The front nine gave Crowe more of a struggle as he tallied two double bogies at holes six and eight to finish with an 8-over 44. Crowe wrapped up the back nine with a 5-over 41.
Aidan Wilson, also of Fairbanks, turned in a 23-over 95 to claim 11th place.
