Jonathan Alder’s girls hoop squad upped its record to 10-2 with a 70-34 romp over Springfield Shawnee on Saturday.
JA took a 25-13 lead into the second quarter and then limited Shawnee to four points during that set.
Jonathan Alder held a 41-17 advantage at halftime and took a 59-28 margin into the final eight minutes of action.

Marysville’s boys (6-5) dropped a 65-42 verdict at Bishop Watterson.
The Monarchs trailed, 19-15, after the opening period and 34-29 by the end of the first half.
The Eagles expanded their upper hand to 48-32 by the end of the third stanza.
Garrett Taylor led MHS with 22 points.

FHS girls drop game
The Lady Panthers slipped to 5-7 with a 59-40 loss against Greeneview.
Macy Miller led FHS with 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Also scoring for the Lady Panthers were Elaina Lahmers-seven, Bella Rowland-five, Megan Rausch-four, Dani Headings-four, Lillian Miller-two, Gracie Pyers-two and Emma Kugel-one.

The Lady Jaguars beat Marysville Red, 22-16.
Grace Gorton and Mya Balderson each tallied six points for St. John’s.
