A pair of local high school girls varsity basketball teams remained unbeaten during games on Wednesday.
Jonathan Alder upped its record to 3-0 by pummeling Graham, 86-30.
The Lady Cats of North Union went to 2-0 with their 49-45 margin over London.
JA-Graham
The Lady Pioneers raced to a 30-5 lead by the end of the opening period and took a 48-9 margin at halftime.
JA’s lead expanded to 73-18 by the time the fourth quarter got under way.
Abby Jones led four Lady Pioneers in double figures as she tallied 20 points.
Melissa Walbom scored 15, followed by Sydney Bourquin-12 and Maddie Wilson-11.
Alder will host Kenton Ridge on Saturday.
The JV contest will begin at noon, followed by varsity action.

The opening quarter of this contest looked more like a softball score with the Red Raiders holding a 5-4 edge.
North Union got its offense on track during the ensuing period and held a 19-17 margin at the turn.
The contest remained tight during the third quarter as the score was knotted at 34-all.
Journey Blevins led NU (which will host Benjamin Logan on Monday) with 17 points.
Kori Marvin joined her in double figures with 10.
