Jonathan Alder’s softball squad has earned the highest seed of any area team for upcoming tournament play.
Pairings were established on Sunday.
The No. 1 Lady Pioneers received a first-round bye.
They will enter post-season competition at home on Thursday, May 13, 5 p.m.
Jonathan Alder will host the winner of the No. 17 Columbus East and No. 15 Columbus Beechcroft game.
North Union earned the second-highest seed of local softball squads.
The Lady Cats are seeded No. 2 in the Division III tournament.
They will host No. 18 Columbus North International at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12.
The Lady Monarchs of Marysville have earned the No. 4 seed in the Division I tournament.
Marysville also received a first-round bye.
MHS will host the winner of the Hilliard Davidson (No. 31) and Columbus Briggs (36) game.
The Lady Monarchs will host the sectional finals contest on Wednesday, May 12, 5 p.m.
Fairbanks is ranked 11th in the D-III tournament.
The Lady Panthers will play at No. 10 Centerburg on Monday, May 10, 5 p.m.
Triad has earned the No. 10 seed in the Southwest district.
The Lady Cardinals will play at No. 13 Jackson Center on Tuesday, May 11, 5 p.m.
