Jonathan Alder’s girls and boys cross-country teams captured Central Buckeye Conference championships on Saturday.
JA’s girls claimed top honors with 24 points, followed by Indian Lake-76, Northwestern-96, Springfield Shawnee-99, North Union-139, Bellefontaine-150, Benjamin Logan-153 and Tecumseh-204.
Morgan Hicks, Eliza Streit and Maddie Davis of Jonathan Alder claimed the second, third and fourth place finishes with respective times of 19:17.6, 19:54.8 and 20:06.6.
Evie McDaniel of Alder was sixth in 20:41.5.
She was followed by Reggan Gray, ninth, 20:53.3; Avery Wynk, 12th, 21:23.7; Emma Kennedy, 24th, 22:16.1; Kate Curtiss, 27th, 22:25.8; Maggie Malone, 52nd, 24:13.7; and Chloe Fields, 60th, 25:08.8.
Kendal Music topped the Lady Cats of North Union with a 13th place clocking of 21:38.1.

Alder’s boys finished with 47 points, followed by Bellefontaine-54, Springfield Shawnee-74, Benjamin Logan-100, Urbana-147, North Union-150, Tecumseh-182, Graham-195, London-245 and Indian Lake-246.
