Jonathan Alder’s girls hoopsters remained unbeaten in the Central Buckeye Conference.
The Lady Pioneers raised their Kenton Trail Division record to 7-0 and their overall mark at 14-4 with a 44-35 victory over Bellefontaine.
The Lady Chieftains were limited to 12 points during the first half.
Alder held a 12-5 margin at the conclusion of the opening period and a 25-12 lead at the halftime turn.
JA’s upper hand stood at 37-21 by the end of the third stanza.
Mary Ferrito tossed in 22 points to lead the Lady Pioneers (who will host London on Wednesday).

FHS girls fall
Fairbanks’ girls slipped to 14-4 overall and 10-3 in the Ohio Heritage Conference (North Division) with a 56-53 setback against West Jefferson.
The Panthers trailed 12-9 at the end of the first quarter and 25-21 by halftime.
The Roughriders maintained a 43-34 margin at the conclusion of the third quarter.
Carly Lehman led FHS (which will travel to Mechanicsburg on Wednesday) with 20 points.
Reese Poling joined her in double figures with 10.
Also scoring for the Lady Panthers were Macy Miller-eight, Elaina Lahmers-eight, Ellie Carter-three, Katelyn Vollrath-two and Kate Ruff-two.

Triad drops game
The Lady Cardinals are now 1-15 overall and 0-11 in the OHC North Division.
Triad lost to Mechanicsburg 73-7.
Kaley Nott scored three points, while Ashlyn McCoy finished with six rebounds.
The Lady Cardinals will host Northeastern this evening.

NUMS teams sweep
The North Union Middle School girls basketball teams defeated Ridgemont 39-8 (seventh-grade) and 49-12 (eighth-grade).
Gabby Lindsey had 15 points and Gracyn Woodruff added 12 markers for the seventh-grade team (13-2).
Kennedy Harrah netted 32 points for the seventh-grade squad (12-3).
