The Triad junior high football team upped its record to 2-0 with Thursday’s 36-0 triumph over Madison Plains.
Hunter Thompson had a strong game for the Cardinals.
He scored on a 10-yard run and on a 40-yard pass from Caleb Thomas.
Thompson had a two-point conversion and recovered a fumble on defense.
Thomas added to the scoring with his own 20-yard run and a two-point conversion.
Cam Thomas scored on a 35-yard run, while Cayden Everhart tallied a three-yard run for a TD.
Awesom Mitchell completed the scoring with a two-point conversion.
Reid Todhunter had a sack and a fumble recovery, while Cam Thomas and Tucker Webb each had a sack.
The Cardinals will play at Greeneview on Thursday.
