Junior golf comes to a close at Darby Creek

The Union County Junior Golf Academy Tour made its last stop of the season at Darby Creek Golf Course on Thursday where golfers competed for the title of champion.
Travis Brake was able to claim that title of champion in the boy’s Tour Division with a five over par 77. Seth Payne was crowed the runner-up in the division with a 10 over par 82, while Alex Crowe took third with an 11 over par 83.
The remaining golfers finished as follows in the boy’s Tour Division:
-Chris Borjas, 85
-Andrew Crowe, 87
-Egan O’Hara, 103
-Zach Riegel, 111
-Ryan Beckoff, 131
In the girl’s Tour Division Haley Kirby was crowned the champion with an 18 over par 90 on the day. Olivia Ishmael claimed the runner-up spot with a 23 over par 95, while Cassady VanDyke came in third with a 28 over par 100.
The remaining golfers finished as follows in the girl’s Tour Division:
-Veronique Grand, 114
-Gabby Vamos, 117
-Mary Weisburn, 119
-Emily Williams, 120
-Lydia Cunningham, 130
-Cailtin Johnson, 131
In the boy’s Academy 9-hole Division, Mason Rausch took the top spot with a six over par 42. Grady Wisecup finished with an eight over par 44 to claim second place, while Jackson Burns ended his day in third place with an 11 over par 47.
The remaining golfers finished as follows in the boy’s Academy Division:
-Miles Young, 49
-Colin Staats, 50
-Dalton Smith, 52
-Nate Russell, 53
-Madden Ungerer, 53
-Jason Everly, 55
-Finn Edie, 56
In the girl’s Academy 9-hole Division, Reese Cordonnier took the to spot with a 75 on the day. Jorja Ary claimed second with an 80 and Sara Beckhoff rounded out the group of three with a 110.
In the Premier 9-hole Division Berkley Behrens led the pack with a 52 on the day, while Brady Adams was able to stroke a 60.
The remaining golfers finished as follows in the Premier Division:

-Brady Cordonnier, 61
-Dylan VanDyke, 64
-Kaleb cox, 67
